TRANSPORT
Zetland is a really convenient place to live in. The transportation contains the bus, train, metro and taxi. However, the taxi is hard to afford for students like us. There are also lots of bus stations which can take you to everywhere in Sydney. The only train station in Zetland called Green Square station belongs to T8. The fastest way to central is taking route 343 from Elizabeth St via Joynton Ave to Central station.
SAFETY
It is kind of safe to live in Zetland as this suburb has a low crime rate. Although compared with that in NSW, Robbery is more likely to happen in Zetland. Therefore, as the rate of theft is more than double the state average, it would be better to take care of your personal belongings. Nevertheless, the crime rate is still quite low at only about 3%. Moreover, the ‘Fire and Rescue NSW Alexandria Fire Station’ located just in Zetland. As a result, residences could feel at ease as the relief works are always at their service.
